CAIRO, March 23 (MENA) – Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli reaffirmed Egypt's steadfast support for the Palestinian people and their efforts to rebuild the Gaza Strip.

During the prime minister's meeting with Palestinian Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohamed Mustafa the two sides took up on ongoing efforts to maintain the ceasefire and rebuild the Gaza Strip.

Palestinian ambassador to Cairo Diab Al-Louh took part in the meeting.

The Egyptian premier said, the Gaza Strip reconstruction plan will involve further coordination with regional and international parties, as well as Palestinian counterparts, to finalize the implementation details.

He also stressed crucial need to uphold the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to halt further bloodshed of the Palestinian people and kickstart the early recovery and reconstruction efforts.

Meanwhile, the Palestinian prime minister emphasized the importance of upholding a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip to ensure progress in the early recovery and reconstruction efforts.

During the meeting, the Palestinian prime minister discussed ongoing coordination efforts with several Arab, Muslim countries, as well as international stakeholders regarding the Gaza Strip situation, in preparation for the Gaza Reconstruction Conference.

At the end of the meeting, both sides agreed to continue consultations and coordination in the coming period to support efforts aimed at implementing the reconstruction plan and sustaining the ceasefire. (MENA)
