CAIRO, March 14 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi expressed his appreciation for the efforts of the Armed Forces in protecting the nation and safeguarding its sanctities.
This came during Sisi’s meeting with commanders of the Armed Forces, in the presence of Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces and Minister of Defense and Military Production Abdel Mageed Saqr and Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Ahmed Khalifa.
Sisi greeted the Armed Forces on the anniversary of the 10th of Ramadan Victory, which coincides with Egypt and the Armed Forces’ celebration of Martyr’s Day and Veterans’ Day.
He paid tribute to the martyrs who paved the way to the national progress across all fields.
The meeting also tackled several significant international and regional files and reviewed the Armed Forces' efforts in supporting Egypt’s national security on all strategic fronts.
Sisi performed Friday prayers at Mosheer Tantawy Mosque. The prayer was attended by Azhar Grand Imam Ahmed el Tayyeb, Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli, General Abdel Mageed Saqr, Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa, along with several ministers, governors, commanders of the main military branches, as well as officers, non-commissioned officers, and soldiers of the Armed Forces.
