SUEZ, Egypt, Feb 27 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli inaugurated Thursday the second phase of the "Ceramica Cleopatra" factory in the integrated industrial zone in Sokhna.
The premier and his accompanying delegation toured the factory's facilities, production stages, and the capabilities of the second phase.
The factory spans an area of 7.2 million square meters, with total investments amounting to EGP 25 billion. The second phase covers 500,000 square meters, with investments of EGP 5 billion, dedicated to producing ceramics and porcelain with an annual production capacity of 80 million square meters, providing 1,300 job opportunities.
Madbouli praised the factory’s expansion, emphasizing its role in enhancing production capabilities and exports, supporting the government's plans to boost national exports.
The factory is fully automated, with manufacturing processes carried out entirely without human intervention.
Madbouli observed the product testing phase, conducted by a robot that applies varying pressure levels to assess product quality. The sorting process is then performed using artificial intelligence, categorizing products into first, second, and third grades.
Additionally, the premier visited the research and development laboratories, where products are enhanced and refined according to the latest global standards. (MENA)
