SUEZ, Egypt, Feb 27 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Thursday inaugurated the factory of Alex Panel company for Sandwich panel manufacturing during his inspection tour of Sokhna Industrial Zone, which is an affiliate of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE).
The inauguration of the factory took place in the presence of SCZONE Chairman Walid Gamal el Dien.
During the tour, the premier was briefed by CEO of Alex Panel company Magdy Hossny on the project of the leading company in manufacturing insulated roof in Egypt and the Middle East.
Erected on an area of 31,336 square meters, the total cost of the project is 700 million pounds with an estimated annual production capacity of one million square meters of polyurethane and 1.1 million square meters of rock wool, Hosny said.
The factory will create 120 job opportunities, the CEO of the factory added.
Hosny highlighted the company's contributions to several national projects carried out by the state nationwide, including Suez Steel company, the maintenance workshop of Metro Line 3 trains, Salloum border gateway and other key national projects. (MENA)
