CAIRO, Feb 23 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty Sunday discussed over phone with
newly appointed Chad's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, African Integration and Chadians Abroad and International Cooperation Abdoulaye Sabre Fadoul ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries.

Abdelatty congratulated the top Chadian diplomat on his appointment, noting that he is looking forward to boosting cooperation and coordination with Chad, in order to promote bilateral relations in all fields, according to Foreign Ministry Spokesman Tamim Khallaf.

They discussed, during the phone call, means of enhancing economic relations, including boosting the volume of trade exchange and encouraging Egyptian investments in Chad, the spokesman said.

He added that two sides affirmed the importance of joint action towards supporting economic integration and fostering sustainable development, for the benefit of both countries.

Abdelatty and Fadoul discussed regional developments and underscored the significance of boosting cooperation and coordination in face of joint challenges, including issues of security and stability in the region alongside efforts meant to achieve security and peace in the African continent, the spokesman added.
