MADRID, Feb 18 (MENA) – President Abdel Fattah El Sisi on Tuesday received at his residence in the Spanish capital, Madrid, Ricardo Domínguez García, President of Spain’s Navantia Company.

The meeting, which was held on the sidelines of Sisi's visit to Spain, reviewed the activities of the Spanish shipbuilding company that cover civil and military naval construction, the design of deep-tech systems and the manufacture of structures for the renewable energy sector, Presidential Spokesman Mohammed El Shennawy said.

Both sides discussed possible opportunities for enhancing cooperation on naval industries, particularly the implementation of clean and renewable energy and green hydrogen projects in Egypt.

President Sisi shed light on the state’s efforts to offer incentives to encourage investors and increase investments in Egypt.

For his part, García voiced the company’s keenness to invest in different domains in Egypt, lauding the big progress Egypt realized in the infrastructure domain, the spokesman added. (MENA)
