CAIRO, Jan 15 (MENA) - Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Lieutenant General Ahmed Khalifa Wednesday inspected the parachute forces to assess the level of training and combat readiness of the special forces fighters.

The visit is part of the General Command's commitment to monitoring all training activities of the Armed Forces personnel.

The inspection covered various training activities and practical exercises that reflected the high level of field skills and professionalism of the parachute forces in carrying out all tasks.

He discussed with several fighters methods of executing their missions according to their different specialties and their ability to benefit from the development and modernization of combat training techniques in line with the nature of their work.

The parachute forces pledged to exert maximum effort in training to achieve the highest levels of readiness and combat preparedness.

Commander of the Parachute Forces Major General Ahmed Zaki Ahmed asserted that the parachute forces work with determination and resolve to reach the highest levels of combat efficiency to carry out all assigned tasks under various circumstances.

Serious training is one of the main elements in building the combat capability of the armed forces, enabling them to carry out their primary missions efficiently and effectively, Lt. Gen. Khalifa said, praising the high morale and advanced training level of the forces and urging them to continue improving their training standards to maintain the highest levels of readiness and combat preparedness.

The inspection tour was attended by several military commanders.(MENA)
