MUSCAT, Jan 8 (MENA) - Omani Minister of Housing and Urban Planning Khalfan Said al Shu'aili asserted that Oman is keen to enhance cooperation and partnerships with investors and real estate developers in Egypt, who have gained expertise that qualifies them to join regional and international markets in light of their participation in major projects implemented by the Egyptian state in the housing sector.
He made the remarks during a meeting with a number of Egyptian, Arab, and foreign journalists marking the fifth anniversary of Sultan Haitham bin Tariq's accession to power.
Al Shu'aili noted that Egypt has a unique and inspiring experience in the housing and urban planning domain, adding that Oman seeks to benefit from this experience.
He commended the projects being carried out by Egypt in the housing and urban planning domain, highlighting the positive impact of these project on citizens.
He noted that there is a direct cooperation agreement between Egypt and Oman in the field of housing, referring to the visits exchanged between delegations of both sides.
Oman is interested in enhancing its partnership with Egypt in the housing and urban planning domain, he accentuated. (MENA)
