CAIRO, Jan 8 (MENA - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi's statements during his participation in Christmas celebrations by the Coptic Orthodox Church affirmed that the Egyptians are well aware of all challenges besetting them, said Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Wednesday.
Madbouli asserted that Sisi's statements, which he delivered at the Cathedral of the Nativity of Christ in the New Administrative Capital on January 6, included important messages shedding light on the unity of all Egyptians to overcome domestic and foreign challenges.
During the Cabinet weekly meeting, the prime minister greeted Egypt's Copts inside and outside the country on Christmas, saying that President Sisi was keen to visit the church to greet Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of the See of St. Mark and all Copts on the festive occasion.
He quoted the president as saying that the government cooperates with various global companies as well as local and foreign investors in the oil and natural gas sector to increase production and meet the state's needs for carrying out development projects.
The prime minister said the inauguration of the Grand Egyptian Museum, which is expected to take place soon, would pave the way for increasing tourism movement into the country. (MENA
