CAIRO, Dec 25 (MENA) - President Abdel Faffah El Sisi has directed the government to pursue efforts of upgrading educational process and promoting technological components at schools to hone the skills of students and teachers.

The president made the remarks during a meeting Wednesday with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli and Minister of Education and Technical Education Mohamed Abdellatif.

Presidential Spokesman Mohamed El Shennawy said the president was briefed on measures taken by the government to overcome challenges facing educational process.

The president reviewed steps taken by the Ministry to reduce class density and deal with the teachers' shortage.

The president reviewed efforts to redesign the scientific components at secondary schools with reviewing the school subjects in a way serving educational process.

According to the spokesman, the meeting also dealt with measures to increase the number of Japanese schools in Egypt after their successful experiments across the country. (MENA)
