CAIRO, Dec 19 (MENA) - President Abdel Fattah El Sisi affirmed Thursday that Egypt, as the current chair of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation, will spare no effort in supporting the organization's goals and advancing its work.
He emphasized his reliance on member states to implement the agreements reached during the summit in the upcoming phase.
In his closing remarks at the special session on Palestine and Lebanon, held as part of the D-8 Summit in the New Administrative Capital, President Sisi appreciated the support for Egypt's chairmanship, which contributed to achieving tangible outcomes.
He stressed that the significant challenges require collective efforts, enhanced consultation, coordination, and knowledge sharing to formulate viable solutions.
