CAIRO, Dec 18 (MENA) – Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty held a series of high-level bilateral meetings on the sidelines of the 21st Council of Foreign Ministers meeting of the D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation in Egypt's New Administrative Capital.

He met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, Nigerian Foreign Minister Yusuf Maitama Tuggar, and Malaysian Minister of Higher Education Zambry Abdul Kadir to discuss strengthening ties across political, economic, and trade domains.

The discussions also focused on pressing regional issues, including developments in Syria, Gaza, Lebanon, Sudan, and the Horn of Africa.

All parties emphasized the importance of fostering security and stability in the region while exploring avenues for greater cooperation. (MENA)
