CAIRO, Sept 30 (MENA) - Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouli on Monday held a meeting with Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi to discuss the payment of all outstanding arrears to foreign oil companies and the results of an incentive package for research and exploration activities, said Cabinet Spokesman Mohamed el Homsani.

The petroleum minister said a program is being carried out to regularly pay off all arrears of foreign oil companies, starting from October.

Badawi told Madbouli that Italian energy giant Eni increased the number of drilling rigs for Agiba Petroleum Company to accelerate the development of new discoveries. (MENA)
