NEW YORK, Sept 27 (MENA) - Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Badr Abdelatty reiterated Egypt's categorical rejection of the presence of any state above the law and not to be held accountable for its acts.

This came at a joint press conference of ministers who are members of the Arab and Islamic ministerial committee on Palestine, held on Friday on the sidelines of an emergency session of the UN Security Council on the conditions in the Middle East.

Commenting on the dangerous developments in the Middle East in light of the Israeli aggression on Lebanon and the continued aggression against the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, Abdelatty urged the UNSC to assume its responsibilities and take the necessary measures to reach an immediate, inclusive and permanent ceasefire in Gaza and Lebanon, and avoid slipping towards the precipice of a regional war.
