CAIRO, Oct 31 (MENA) - Arab League (AL) Secretary General Ahmed Abul Gheit strongly condemned the Israeli bombing of Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, which left more than 250 Palestinians dead and injured.
In a press statement released on Tuesday, Abul Gheit said this is yet another crime to be added to the Israeli occupation's countless atrocities in Gaza.
Gamal Roshdy, spokesman for the AL chief quoted Abul Gheit as saying that the continuation of daily massacres by the Israeli occupation forces in Gaza call into question the effectiveness of international law and international humanitarian law.
The AL chief reiterated his call for an immediate cessation of the Israeli aggression on Gaza, blaming the international community for the bloodsheds in the enclave.
He also called for an immediate delivery of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. (MENA)
