CAIRO, May 8 (MENA) - Armed Forces Chief-of-Staff Osama Askar held a meeting on Wednesday with Bahraini Chief of Staff General Theyab bin Saqer Al Nuaimi, currently visiting Egypt with his accompanying delegation.

The talks tackled means of enhancing military cooperation between the two countries in various domains.

Askar asserted the long-standing military relations between the Armed Forces of the two countries, commending the efforts being exerted to bolster military cooperation.

For his part, Al Naimi underlined the depth of the Egyptian-Bahraini ties, lauding the efforts exerted by Egypt to support regional peace and security.

The meeting was attended by Egyptian and Bahraini top brass. (MENA)
